A few years before retirement, Nash was diagnosed with a progressive neurological disorder. His condition is terminal. Nash now lives at the Sprenger Health Care Rose Lane Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Massillon.

Suddenly, the bicycle racks are full outside Natividad Pagan International Newcomers Academy on Cleveland’s West Side, each one paired with a proud owner. “Joseph House,” a local non-profit dedicated to supporting refugee resettlement in Cleveland, teamed up with the Cleveland Metropolitan School District and the American Academy of Pediatrics to provide 85 bicycles to students. The Village Bike Co-Op helped the cause, as did St. Joseph’s parish in Avon Lake.

World War II Veteran Denver Moore, who lives in the Danbury Senior Living Community in Massillon, became a viral sensation on social media a few weeks ago when he invited President Donald Trump to his 104th birthday party on May 15. Denver told News 5 at the time, "It'd be nice if he came to my party."President Trump was not able to make an appearance at the party, but he did the next best thing. “Hi, Denver," the president said in a video he provided for the gathering.
