The Bedford Police Department said 21-year-old Cristian Scott Phelps Harootunian was arrested and charged in connection to multiple sex crimes. BPD said the arrest came after an investigation with the help of the Franklin County and Botetourt County sheriff's offices.

LYNCHBURG, Va. (WSET) — The man already charged in the shooting death of Cash Gaudio is now facing murder charges against Christina Hamilton, the mother who was found dead on the same day that Cash was shot. LPD said 19-year-old Cash Gaudio was shot and killed. 33-year-old Nathaniel Lee Pridemore, of Lynchburg, has been charged in the incident. RADFORD, Va. (WSET) — A young boy in Radford has a new bike thanks to an officer in the police department who wanted to surprise him. According to the Radford Police Department, officers were responding to a residence in late April for a call for service. Officer Vaughan, one of the responding law enforcement members, noticed a young boy and started talking with him. "They chatted for a while, and Officer Vaughan asked why he wasn’t out riding bikes with his friends," RPD said.
