Members got on the bus and travelled to St Abbs, Coldingham Bay, Linkim Shore and on to Eyemouth. Claremont Rambling Club had a brilliant day out on Sunday, June 1, when members headed to the Berwickshire coast. The club bus first went to Dunbar Garden Centre for a coffee/breakfast break and then travelled on to St Abbs, where as usual the walkers split into two groups.

The event at United Reformed Church raised thousands. Rutherglen Rotary Club raised around £3100 for local good causes at their annual plant fair. On Saturday, the United Reformed Church on Johnstone Drive catered to the needs of hundreds of green-fingered locals at the event. Quality bedding plants and hanging baskets were on offer from 10am, with all of the proceeds going to the group’s charity fund.
