    LOGAN - The Utah Department of Wildlife Services is encouraging hikers and campers in the Cache Valley area or in other places across Utah and Idaho, to watch out for deer fawns or elk calves during late May or June. Should they find a baby animal they should leave them alone. Do not touch them, feed them or take them home. Taking home a baby animal can have fatal consequences for the animal and could also result in an injury to those who take them.

    LOGAN - Most schools in Cache Valley will be out for summer break this weekend and the mercury is rising, sending more people to swimming pools and beaches to cool off. Safety is key when recreating at places where water is the key to having fun. The Utah Department of Health and Human Services claim roughly 31 people in the state drown every year. Their statistics from 2011 to 2020 show 52 percent of toddlers 0-4 years old are the largest group of victims in water related deaths.

    BRIGHAM CITY – Ten years ago Historic Downtown Brigham City, a 501c, started Art on Main, a multi-venue art festival with five different art competitions. This festival provides the Brigham City community with a meaningful way to celebrate Memorial Day and to launch the summer while honoring veterans and Gold Star families, said David Walker, one of the organizers. The activities are mostly located from 100 South to 50 North, one block packed with stuff to do and see. It is in the core of downtown.
