MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - Mid-South enjoyed a cool but beautiful start to the weekend thanks to high pressure in the Midwest and Ohio Valley. We’ll enjoy more great weather tomorrow along with a significant southerly flow that will usher in warmer temperatures and gusty winds. TONIGHT: Clear with a light Southeast wind and overnight lows in the upper 40s to near 50. SUNDAY: Sunny with a gusty South wind at 15 to 20 MPH and afternoon highs in the upper 70s to near 80.

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - A few showers moved through the Mid-South today, but a dry pattern is taking shape tonight and will be in place for the weekend and remain for the next few days. TONIGHT: Mostly Clear with a light North wind and overnight lows in the upper 30s to lower 40s. SATURDAY: Sunny and cool with a light Northeast wind and afternoon highs in the mid to upper 60s. SATURDAY NIGHT: Clear with a Southeast wind at 5 to 10 MPH and overnight lows in the upper 40s.

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - A cold front will move through the Mid-South Thursday bringing scattered showers and a few t’storms to the area. The Storm Prediction Center has placed a Slight Risk of storms over the entire Action News 5 coverage area. The main time for rain and storms will be during the afternoon and early evening hours will the main threats being the potential for strong winds and hail. TONIGHT: Increasing Clouds with a South wind at 5 to 10 MPH and overnight lows in the low to mid 50s.

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - The work week started on a cool, dry note and sunshine today and there’s more to come, but it could get a little frosty tonight. Temperatures will fall into the 30s for parts of the Mid-South prompting the National Weather Service to issue a FROST ADVISORY for West Tennessee and Northeast Arkansas from 3 AM to 9 AM Tuesday. TONIGHT: Clear with a Northwest wind at 5 to 10 MPH and overnight lows in the mid 30s to near 40.
