HORN LAKE, Miss. (WMC) - A man is charged after a shooting in Horn Lake on Thursday morning. The shooting happened just before noon at a home on West Avalon Drive. Officers found an 18-year-old at the scene with a gunshot wound to the chest. He was airlifted to Regional One in Memphis. Witnesses told police the shooter ran from the scene, and police were able to track him down to the area of Nail Road and Kentwood Drive.

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - The City of Memphis has filed a motion to unseal a number of documents in the federal case against the five former officers related to Tyre Nichols’ death. Attorney Bruce McMullen filed the motion on behalf of the City of Memphis and Police Chief CJ Davis, requesting 17 documents be unsealed. Among the documents are discovery requests for at least three of the former officers.
