A noticeable change is coming to some 7-Eleven stores in Canada. In a news release issued Tuesday, the company said that its rebranding its fuel stations in Alberta and Ontario starting this month. Of the 550 7-Eleven stores in Canada, 63 also offer gas as part of the 7-Eleven brand. But soon, those gas stations will instead become Petro-Canada or Esso/Mobil.

Up to 10 cm of snow is possible in parts of southern Ontario on Tuesday, Environment Canada says. The weather agency indicated in its Tuesday outlook that some areas east of Lake Huron can expect to see 70 to 80 km/h wind gusts and blowing snow. Local accumulations of five to 10 cm are possible, Environment Canada said. It comes as parts of northern Ontario have been hit with much more snowfall. Snowfall warnings were issued Monday for areas north of Lake Superior.

A long weekend is coming up in Ontario. Hours at The Beer Store will be affected for two days this weekend as a result of the holidays. On Good Friday, The Beer Store will be closed. Saturday will have regular hours, and then on Easter Sunday, the stores will be closed once again. While some people have Easter Monday off, many do not. And The Beer Store is one business that will have regular hours on Monday.

Warnings are in place for parts of Ontario with a spring storm set to dump as much as 25 cm of snow. Environment Canada issued the snowfall warnings for areas north of Lake Superior, with peak snowfall rates of 2 to 3 cm per hour in the forecast. Areas under the warning are expected to see a total of 15 to 25 cm into Tuesday. Precipitation is forecasted to start as rain for some locations before switching to snow.

Certain types of pasta have been recalled in Canada. The Canadian Food Inspection Agency said in a notice that the products are being pulled from shelves “due to presence of insects.”The agency said Fiorfiore brand Spaghetti – Durum Wheat Semolina Pasta and Linguine – Organic Durum Wheat Semolina Pasta are the affected products. The spaghetti is 500 g in size, has the UPC number 8 11578 03400 3 and the codes 2026/07/02 L41846001A.
