A Bedford County native, Kelly returns to her hometown with over a decade of national experience in tourism, marketing, and digital media. HARRISBURG - Local leaders in the state legislature say that Gov. Josh Shapiro's budget outline for the year involves too much spending and that Pennsylvania's taxpayers would not benefit from the proposal. Shapiro delivered his annual budget address in Harrisburg on Tuesday. The plan calls for $51.5 billion in expenditures, which includes more dollars for education and public transit initatives while also working to gain support for taxes on skill games and the legalization of marijuana.
