The 9-acre estate in the Sonoma County town of Glen Ellen was owned by W. Howard Lester, the late businessman who grew Williams-Sonoma from a small retailer into a kitchenware empire. He died in 2010.

The seven-bedroom home, listed with Brett Lawyer at Carolwood Estates, returned to the market with the price cut on Friday.
