On May 29, the temperature high in the City of Lacombe was 31.9 C beating the previously held daily record of 30.5 C, which was set 39 years ago in 1986. Records have been monitored in the area since 1907. Meanwhile in Red Deer, the daily high reached 31.6 C knocking out the previous record of 30.7 C also set in 1986.
