After years of serving Korean-inspired tacos, burritos, fried chicken, fried rice and sandwiches in Asbury Park, Jason Devino and Samuel Chung opened MOGO Korean Fusion Tacos in Long Branch. Beachside Bites in Seaside Heights serves beef hot dogs with cheese, sauerkraut or chili sauce; personal pizzas; and non-dairy frozen Dole soft-serve.

Dirty soda is popular on social media. It has not been easy to find at the Shore, but Van Holten's Sweet Shop on the Seaside Heights is in on the trend. South Beach Sweets on the Point Pleasant Beach boardwalk offers cannoli, including one stuffed with cookie dough. In Asbury Park, Coney Waffle's chocolate ice cream mixed with peanut butter is scooped in a sprinkle-dipped waffle cone. Boardwalk pizza is great. Soft-serve ice cream cones are a must. Clams by the bucket are a tradition.

The One Bite Pizza Fest takes place Saturday, Sept. 13, at Randall's Island Park in New York City. Dozens of pizzerias from across the country will attend. Half a dozen New Jersey pizzerias are headed to the Big Apple. The restaurants, from Elizabeth to Jackson, will take part in the third annual One Bite Pizza Fest, where pizza fans try slices from more than 40 top shops in the Garden State, New York, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Michigan, Arizona, Illinois, Maryland and Texas.
