    A 22-YEAR-OLD man from Pembrokeshire has been ordered to pay £3,000 in compensation after he knocked a bystander unconscious and left him bleeding in the street during a violent incident in Tenby town centre. Oscar Allen, of The Ridgeway, Penally, launched the unprovoked attack on Jason Page after Mr Page intervened over concerns about how Allen was speaking to his girlfriend in Bank Lane on the evening of November 25, 2023.

    A POLISH motorist who crashed his car after driving over the legal alcohol limit told police he had been kidnapped and held to ransom by an Islamic male threatening to harm his friend. However, the claim was not accepted by police, prosecutor Sian Vaughan told Haverfordwest magistrates this week, as 47-year-old Pawel Stasiak appeared in the dock. Stasiak, of Little Road, Hayes, London, pleaded guilty to drink-driving, driving without a licence, and driving without insurance.

    A HAVERFORDWEST man who subjected his wife to a torrent of verbal abuse during a drug-fuelled outburst has been sentenced by magistrates. Michael Tomlin, 40, of Coronation Avenue, appeared before Haverfordwest Magistrates’ Court this week after previously pleading guilty to a string of offences. The court heard how Tomlin’s behaviour spiralled after taking crack cocaine, nitrous oxide and amphetamine.

    A MAN has appeared before magistrates charged with brandishing a Samurai sword in an alleged street fight in Pembroke Dock town centre. Michel Valmont, 47, was arrested on June 15, 2024, after police were called to a fracas in Pembroke Street. The Crown claims that officers discovered Valmont in possession of a sharp pointed weapon, namely a samurai sword.

    Plain clothes police officers observed Ashton Banfield, 19, supplying controlled drugs outside Swansea train station on March 27. This was just one month following  his release from prison for a previous drug dealing conviction. “You were caught red handed once again, up to the old habits of pedalling Class A drugs around the city,” commented Judge Geraint Walters when Banfield was brought before him for sentencing on Monday, May 19. “You thought you were Mr Big again.
