HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) – Borrowers who have defaulted on their student debt will need to figure out a payment plan by March 5, or risk the federal government garnishing their wages. About 25% of borrowers have not made payments in at least 270 days, which is considered a default. The White House has said it will take up to 15% of discretionary income out of a paycheck if necessary.

HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) – It’s not abnormal for Brian Enterline, who’s been Harrisburg’s Fire Chief for over a decade, to get a call at 2 a.m. about a building engulfed in flames. “[It happens] on occasion,” Enterline said. “Every other week or so.”So, when he awoke to an early morning call Sunday, he wasn’t shocked—until he saw the call came from Governor Josh Shapiro’s residence.
