The Catholic, Jesuit school in Milwaukee released the news in a statement signed by board chair Todd Adams, provost Kimo Ah Yun and chief operating officer Joel Pogodzinski. Michael Lovell, 57, had been Marquette’s president since 2014, after previously serving as the chancellor of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
