    The Kansas City Royals gave one away to open the season. They had a prime opportunity to tie the score - or take the lead - in the eighth, before running themselves into a bizarre double play. They rallied to tie it in the ninth, but Cleveland earned the win in extras. OK. Reset. On to Game 2. The Royals say they aren't overreacting to Game 1 of 162, and they'll have the chance to show that those missteps were more fluke than feature when they return to the field at 3:10 p.m. Saturday.
