A church in Nash County said someone vandalized a flag of Israel outside their church overnight on Saturday. Pastor Daniel Parker of Christian Fellowship Church Sandy Cross said the flag was found by a maintenance worker cut up and tossed into a drainage area by the church. Security camera footage outside the church showed a man walking by the entrance of the church, leaving the frame and then returning with the wadded flag in his hands.

A body discovered Thursday, Aug. 24, in a rural area near Candor is believed to be Allisha Watts, the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office confirms. Watts' boyfriend, James Dunmore, was arrested the same day and charged with murder, according to the sheriff's office. A month earlier, on July 18, Dunmore was found unresponsive in Watts' SUV in the parking lot of the Anson County DMV office. He initially told authorities he was taking a nap.

Last week, Allisha Watts' boyfriend was found unresponsive in the missing woman's car. On Wednesday, officers with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department took a missing person report for Allisha Watts. Her family members said they'd last seen her on July 16 in Charlotte.

Friends and family members of a Moore County woman are asking for the public's help in finding her Sunday night. 39-year-old Allisha Watts hasn't been seen or heard from since Sunday, July 16, according to her friends. "This has been a week of pure torture," her friend Learen Blue said. "We just need help to bring her back."Blue said Watts' said Watts traveled to Charlotte that night with her new boyfriend in her black Mercedes SUV.
