The Municipality of North Cowichan and the Cowichan Valley Regional District are rolling out their new curbside collection programs on Monday in all areas to streamline waste management and reduce landfill use. New collection bins have been delivered, including bear-resistant organics totes and glass and food scrap containers. Households in Areas A, B, C, and H of the CVRD are also being provided with bear-resistant garbage totes as part of the rollout.
