Peter Wynn, 62 of Whittock Road, Stockwood, Bristol, was arrested at John Smith's Stadium in Huddersfield on October 19, 2024 after another supporter heard him shouting racist abuse and reported it to stewards and the police. Wynn was then charged with a public order offence and appeared at Huddersfield Magistrates' Court on Thursday, April 17.

Four men have been arrested after a man was shot in Bradford. On April 19, just after 10pm, West Yorkshire Police were called by Yorkshire Ambulance Service to reports of a man who had been shot after arriving at the hospital with a gunshot wound. His injury was serious, but not life-threatening. The shooting happened in a car park off of Oak Lane, at the junction of Victor Street in Manningham, following an argument. Now, a number of arrests have been made in connection with the shooting.

A charity has called out the relentless bullying of a teenage girl in Wetherby. The Clothing Bank, a charity which provides essential clothing such as school uniforms, took to social media to blast the cruel bullies. The charity said they had received an urgent referral for a young girl who was heading to college, and who was struggling with bullying due to her shoes and clothes.
