NEWTON COUNTY, Mo. (KOAM) — About 4 p.m. Friday reports of a crash along I-49 NB two miles south of 32nd Street alerted E-911. Redings Mill Fire, Newton County Deputies, Newton County AMB responded. Missouri State Highway Patrol were notified. On scene one vehicle was off the right side of the northbound lanes, on its side in the trees. A second vehicle was on the northbound shoulder pointing the wrong direction. Watch for updates from the scene, KOAM’s Shannon Becker is there.

Two vehicle crash with rollover, closes Davis Blvd

JOPLIN, Mo. (KOAM) — About 1 p.m. Thursday reports of a 2-vehicle crash near 25th and Davis Blvd alerted E-911. Joplin Fire, Police and METS responded. Duquesne Police also arrived to assist. We observe a head-on crash and one had overturned. Joplin Fire spent about 10 minutes cutting the top off one vehicle to extricate the driver. Joplin Police Traffic Officers tell us both drivers were transported with non-life threatening injuries to area hospitals.
