A historic federal building in Provo is newly on a list of assets that the President Donald Trump administration is looking to sell. The J. Will Robinson Federal Building was listed Monday as an "asset for accelerated disposition," meaning it is eligible to be sold soon as part of the administration's push to cut federal spending. The building is currently a Social Security office and is on the National Registry of Historic Places.

Thousands of federal employees have lost their jobs in the first two months of President Donald Trump's administration - and it looks like Department of Defense employees could be next. In a memo ordering senior military leaders to create plans for 8 percent annual cuts over the next five year, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth said the military should focus on "the warrior ethos" and reject "excessive bureaucracy," according to reporting from The New York Times and Bloomberg.
