The local charity who provide support to families right across Kerry need the public’s help to help fund supports like speech and language therapy, occupational therapy and job training for older children. The cycle scheduled for June 22 has been launched ahead of the annual Tour De Munster which is takes place in August and raises funds for Munster’s Down Syndrome charities.

Reformed Kerry drug addict reads letter of apology to his burglary victimA Tralee man has said he is “riddled with guilt and shame” after he committed a burglary in the apartment of a man in the town. Paul Walsh of 156 Shanakill came before Tralee Circuit Criminal Court on a charge of burglary at Apartment 4, I James Street, Tralee, where he stole a phone and clothes valued at €610 – the property of Mr Ian Wilson. The phone had been returned and Mr Walsh had put the clothes on.

Funeral arrangements have now been published for the Mr Gaine, who it is now believed was murdered on his farm in Kerry. His remains were found in recent weeks and following the conclusion of the post mortem his body has now been returned to his family to allow them to bury the beloved husband, brother and uncle.

The people of Waterville this week gathered for a special mass to remember baby Fionán.
