IntroductionThe significant volcanic event—the Emeishan large igneous province (Emei LIP)—was recorded in the Guadalupian Series of the Middle Permian in China [1,2], which witnessed the development of a series of bio-geological events such as large-scale magmatism, plate rupture, magnetic pole reversal, ecological collapse, and the extinction of pre-Lopingian organisms (about 260 Ma ago) [3,4].

HepG2 (HB-8065), HEK293T (CRL-11268), and derived cell lines were cultured according to ENCODE cell culture protocol. Briefly, HepG2 cells were cultured in MEM medium (Gibco, 11,095,080), supplemented with 10% fetal bovine serum (NEWZERUM, FBS-S500), 1 mM non-essential amino acids (Gibco, 11,140,050), 1 mM sodium pyruvate (Gibco, 11,360,070), 100 U/mL penicillin and 100 μg/mL streptomycin (Gibco, 15,140,148).

Abstract This article describes a systematic study of the oxidative etching and regrowth behaviors of Pd nanocrystals, including single-crystal cubes bounded by {100} facets, single-crystal octahedra and tetrahedra enclosed by {111} facets; and multiple-twinned icosahedra covered by {111} facets.
