    A boil water advisory for a portion of west Buckhead was lifted Wednesday after an outage left homes and businesses without water for two days. A closed 12-inch valve caused the initial outage near Nancy Creek and Northside Parkway on Sunday, May 25, according to the Atlanta Watershed Management. Impacted residents and businesses remained without water until Tuesday, May 27. During the outage, the city handed out free bottled water at the Westminster Schools.
