REDDING, Calif. — A two-car collision occurred around 7:30 p.m. this evening at the intersection of Pine and Tehama Street in downtown Redding, according to Redding police. The incident resulted in a temporary road closure. Authorities reported that one person was transported to a local hospital for pain. Police stated that neither alcohol nor drugs are suspected to be factors in the collision. All roads have since reopened to normal traffic.

REDDING, Calif. — — A single-vehicle collision hospitalized one driver after a high-speed crash in Redding. According to Redding police, officers responded to the incident at around 6:45 p.m. at 4075 Railroad Avenue. Witnesses reported seeing a white Subaru traveling southbound at over 100 miles per hour, passing cars before failing to navigate a curve on Buenaventura Boulevard. The vehicle veered off the roadway and collided with a building.
