YPSILANTI, MI — At least two international students have had their visas revoked at Eastern Michigan University as of Monday, April 14. The Ypsilanti university is aware visas revoked for one student from India and another from China, said to EMU spokesperson Walter Kraft. YPSILANTI, MI – An independent film festival is returning to Ypsilanti for its sixth year with plans to bring a new interactive “expanded cinema” performances and its second annual filmmaking marathon. GREEN OAK TWP., MI — Six people were injured in a seven car pile up on U.S. 23 near Brighton. First responders were called to the crash at U.S. 23 and Lee Road around 1:48 p.m., according to Green Oak Township Fire Chief Kevin Gentry. Officials found six people injured to varying degrees when they arrived, he said. The patients were transported to the University of Michigan Hospital. None of the injuries are life-threatening, Gentry said.

GREEN OAK TWP., MI — A crash shut down U.S. 23 Friday afternoon near Brighton. All northbound lanes are blocked after Lee Road, Exit 58, from the April 11 crash, according to the Michigan Department of Transportation.
