    WELLSBORO, Pa. (WETM) — Downtown Wellsboro filled up where people gathered to see the annual Laurel Festival Parade. Festivalgoers took up the sidewalks and sat on the road median strip of Main Street on Saturday, June 21, to celebrate the Pennsylvania state flower, the Mountain Laurel. The parade featured a variety of floats, along with marching bands, drum corps, and bagpipe groups who traveled from Upstate New York and various regions in Southern and Northeastern Pennsylvania.

    MORRIS, Pa. (WETM) — The annual Rattlesnake Round-Up concluded its two-day weekend for its 70th year in Morris, PA on Sunday and spectators got a chance to see what was caught by the hunters. This year’s round-up saw 56 hunters catch 15 snakes around Clinton, Lycoming, and Tioga, PA counties. The hunters competed on Saturday, June 14, to see which rattlesnake they could catch as the longest to win. No hunters were bitten according to organizers, and the winning rattlesnake was 56 inches long.
