The eastbound lanes of Interstate 10 are closed in Buckeye after authorities say a pedestrian was hit and killed by a car. The Arizona Department of Public Safety says the collision happened at around 2 a.m. on Nov. 16 along the shoulder of the freeway. The victim has not been identified. The driver reportedly fled the scene after the collision. The freeway is closed between Watson and Verrado. It's unknown when I-10 will reopen.

A man who pleaded guilty to distributing fentanyl-laced pills, which prosecutors say led to the death of an Arizona teen, is scheduled to be sentenced on Tuesday. Michael Fox was charged with distributing fentanyl-laced pills to a 16-year-old named Hannah Elizabeth Pairrett, who died after using the pills. According to court records, Hannah used her boyfriend's phone to ask Fox for Percocet in June 2019. She got three pills delivered, took one, and fell unconscious about an hour later.

Five Army soldiers are dead after a helicopter crash during a routine training exercise overseas, and one of those soldiers was from Arizona. The tragic crash happened Friday, Nov. 10 along the eastern Mediterranean Sea. It was a training exercise that went horribly wrong. 27-year-old Sergeant Andrew Southard of Apache Junction was one of the five killed. He attended Cactus Canyon Junior High and Apache Junction High School. His life touched many across the world.

The Phoenix Suns game on Nov. 10 was their first as part of the new NBA in-season tournament. They took on the Los Angeles Lakers and check this out - a specially made court for this set of games. The court is primarily purple with a turquoise strip down the middle. The NBA Cup is placed at center court, along with the phrase "El Valle." All 30 teams have specialized courts of their own. We caught up with fans to see how they feel about the upgrades, and they're loving it.
