FALL RIVER — The MIAA released its first tournament power rankings on Tuesday for Fall River area spring sports teams. The rankings only include scores entered into Arbiter, verified by MIAA and schools as of April 29 at 4 a.m.The top 32 baseball, softball, boys volleyball, lacrosse and tennis teams qualify for the tournament, regardless of record. Teams 33 and below qualify for a play-in game with a .500 or better record.

The 2005 Somerset Blue Raiders boys tennis team will be inducted into the Somerset/Somerset Berkley Athletic Hall of Fame. Bob Costa and Manny Silva will receive the Service Award and the Robert F. Souza Excellence Award, respectively. The 2005 Somerset Blue Raiders boys tennis team has long waited for the call from the Hall of Fame. The Blue Raiders tennis team along with nine other former athletes will be inducted into the Somerset/Somerset Berkley Athletic Hall of Fame.
