    MARTIN COUNTY, Fla. — The annual Martin County Science Technology Engineering and Math (STEM) awards ceremony was held Wednesday night. WPTV First Alert Weather chief meteorologist Steve Weagle was the emcee for the event. Elementary, middle and high school students from across the county competed in separate competitions. Projects included bioengineering, agriculture, astronomy and environmental issues.

Thanksgiving morning temperatures will be in the low to mid 60s, which will feel great for any Turkey Trotters. Thurday's afternoon highs will be in the lower 80s with a very light south wind. Today will be mostly sunny with a high of 83 degrees. Tonight, there will be a few clouds with lows in the 60s.

    PALM BEACH COUNTY, Fla. — Gov. Ron DeSantis offered reassurance that the state has enough gas to make it through Hurricane Milton. In a Monday morning update, the governor announced that the state is gathering large gas reserves, including 415,000 gallons of diesel and 389,000 gallons of gasoline. WPTV visited several gas stations and spotted several people filling their gas tanks to ensure they had enough gas ahead of the hurricane.
