(WTOC) - The Georgia Bureau of Investigations announced that they have arrested and charged 18-year-old Ty’Relle Tarver with malice murder, felony murder, and aggravated assault in connection to the death of 41-year-old Jeremy Beckworth. Back on May 21st, the Baxley Police Department responded to a 911 call for a man that had been shot near the intersection of Highland Drive and Edgarton Road in Baxley.

BEAUFORT COUNTY, S.C. (WTOC/Gray News) - A man in South Carolina had to be airlifted to the hospital after he was bitten by an alligator Wednesday morning. According to the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources, the man was injured in the Sun City Subdivision in Beaufort County around 10 a.m.The man was reportedly working in his yard when the gator bit him, the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office said.

BEAUFORT COUNTY, S.C. (WTOC) - According to the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources, one man was airlifted to the hospital following an alligator attack Wednesday morning. South Carolina DNR officials said this attack happened in the Sun City subdivision in Beaufort County. Both South Carolina DNR officers and wildlife staff responded to the incident. SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - Tuesday evening, the Savannah Police Department announced that Liberty Parkway closed between Arcadian Street and Vassar Street due to a crash. On the scene, Alderwoman Bernetta Lanier told WTOC that this situation is a fatality involving a police officer. Neighbors near the scene told us they saw a chase at a very high speed go down Liberty Parkway. The Chatham County Coroner confirmed the fatality and identified the victim as 60-year-old Darren Lewis.

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - We are continuing to cover the four separate shootings and one shots fired call in Savannah over the weekend. Check out the map below- here’s a look at where each of the shootings happened, all very close together. All of these shootings happened within a span of two days. In the Savannah area there have been four shootings in total- leaving three dead and two injured. Savannah Police said they have arrested one individual so far in connection to these shootings.
