A one-year-old girl in Ingham County, Michigan, has been confirmed to have measles after traveling outside the state. The measles, mumps, and rubella (MMR) vaccine is the best protection against the highly contagious infection. Symptoms of measles include fever, cough, runny nose, red eyes, and rash, and the virus can spread even before symptoms appear.

LANSING — Two crashes have happened along Interstate 96 Friday morning, and the highway remains closed near Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, or M-99, according to the Michigan Department of Transportation. MDOT reported the crash and highway closing around 5:30 a.m. on X, the social media platform. There were no other details.
