PULLMAN, Wash. - While the majority of the Washington State men's basketball program is headed for the door, Morehead State guard Jerone Morton wants in on head coach David Riley's program rebuild. According to Washington State Athletics, Morton has signed a Financial Aid Agreement with the WSU basketball program - which indicates his decision to play in the Crimson and Gray for the 2025-26 season.

SPOKANE ARENA - The second round WHL playoff series between Spokane and Victoria is tied at one a piece as the Chiefs prepare for at least two games on the Royals' home ice. On Monday, the Chiefs fell 5-1 in the Spokane Arena after winning Sunday's game in double overtime fashion, 4-3. The Chiefs and Royals each have one win heading into an off-day before picking things back up on Wednesday in Victoria.

NEW YORK - With the 33rd pick in the third round of the 2025 WNBA Draft, Yvonne Ejim was selected by the Indiana Fever. Ejim averaged 20.7 points and 9.3 rebounds per game in the 2024-25 season. She's Gonzaga's all-time leading scorer and has been recognized as the program's all-time leader in rebounds. Ejim was named WCC player of the year and defensive player of the year this season. She's one of only five active players in Division I with 2,000 career points and 1,000 rebounds.

SPOKANE ARENA - The Spokane Chiefs are sleeping well after this one. The Chiefs and the Victoria Royals took things to a fifth period before Spokane's Rasmus Ekström scored the game-winning goal with 9:25 left to play in the second overtime period. Andrew Cristall, Cameron Parr and Sam Oremba each logged goals against the Royals. The second round of the 2025 WHL Playoffs continues Monday at 7:05 in the Spokane Arena. Spokane leads the series 1-0.

SPOKANE, Wash. - The Spokane Chiefs are entering the second round of WHL playoffs for the first time since the 2018-19 season. Starting Sunday, Spokane and the Victoria Royals will battle it out in a best-of-seven series beginning in the Spokane Arena. Check out the WHL 2025 playoff bracket here. During practice at Eagles Ice Arena on Friday, the team put finishing touches on their game plan for the Royals.
