Last summer, Kaukauna and Little Chute experienced Outagamie County's 36th recorded tornado, an EF-1 which traveled 2.7 miles over four minutes. Last spring, Kaukauna and Little Chute experienced an EF-1 tornado, which traveled 2.7 miles over four minutes on the evening of May 21. It displaced 50 residents from an apartment building in Kaukauna, snapped trees and damaged garages.

While construction along Interstate 41 between Grand Chute and De Pere isn't expected to impact traffic headed to and from the NFL draft April 24 to 26, that doesn't mean work isn't progressing — or aiming to kick off some additional closures next week, after the draft is in the history books. The I-41 Project will expand the interstate to six lanes between Grand Chute and De Pere, giving drivers a consistent experience from Oshkosh all the way to Green Bay.

Lane reductions and some closed interchanges, are coming to four miles of State 441 in Fox Crossing, Menasha and Appleton. The Wisconsin Department of Transportation announced it will soon begin replacing structure approaches at 13 bridges along State 441, between Interstate 41 and South Oneida Street. The work is intended to extend the life of the pavement and bridges, and improve the ride quality, according to the department's project overview website. When will work on State 441 begin?
