The Green Bay Press-Gazette is a newspaper that focuses on northeastern Wisconsin, especially Green Bay. It started out as the Green Bay Gazette in 1866 as a weekly publication and transitioned to a daily newspaper in 1871. In 1915, it merged with its main rival, the Green Bay Free Press, and adopted its current name. In March 1980, Gannett acquired the newspaper.
