    Glacier National Park’s decision to implement timed ticketed entry next summer drew mixed reviews from visitors and stakeholders, though officials say it will help further reduce congestion.  The changes will include designated time blocks for the west entrance of the Going-to-the-Sun Road and the North Fork area of the park. This means when a park visitor purchases a vehicle reservation ticket on Recreation.gov, they will choose from various times to enter the park throughout the day.

    Next year, Glacier National Park visitors who go through the west entrance of Going-to-the-Sun Road and the North Fork will be required to enter during a designated time block during ticketed entry. The park will be piloting the timed reservation plan for those areas next year when ticketed entry begins on June 13, officials said in a press release Thursday.

    Nov. 7—Montanans on Tuesday voted 57% in favor of a constitutional amendment aimed at safeguarding abortion access in the state. The Associated Press called the race for CI-128 about 4 a.m. Wednesday morning. The subject of intense campaigning from anti-abortion and abortion-rights groups in the lead up to the Nov. 5 election, the initiative passed by more than 78,000 votes.

    As Montanans begin voting on a measure that would see abortion access enshrined in the state constitution, supporters and opponents held dueling rallies in Northwest Montana over the weekend. Anti-abortion advocates held vice grips on homemade signs urging voters to reject Constitutional Initiative 128 during high winds on Friday afternoon near the Historic Flathead County Courthouse.
