CLEVELAND, Ohio — Welcome to this week’s episode of the Terry’s Talkin’ podcast, with cleveland.com columnist Terry Pluto and host David Campbell. BEREA, Ohio – It took a while for me to decide who the Browns should pick at No. 2 in next Thursday’s NFL draft. I kept thinking about how the Browns need a young QB for now and the future. Then I thought about having the No. 2 pick. There are at least a few players in this draft who will turn out to be great. That’s true of every draft. With the No. 2 pick, you have a chance to select that guy. It’s especially true in this draft, where Tennessee is expected to take QB Cam Ward at No. 1.

CLEVELAND, Ohio – When Walt was 12, his father went to the Department of Motor Vehicles to have his driver’s license renewed. His father sat in a chair, and seemed a little tired. A few minutes later, he was dead. That was a long time ago. Walt believes it was a heart attack, but it could have been something else … something sudden. No one was really sure. One minute, he was fine … then he was dead. “I just know it shook our world,” said Walt.

If I knew what the Browns were doing at No. 2 in the April 24 draft, I’d write it. I don’t know. The Browns have done a good job of keeping everyone guessing, which is the job of nearly every team at the top of the draft.
