    A man was found dead in Lynnfield, Massachusetts, Friday night and police are investigating the case as an apparent homicide, authorities said. The 55-year-old man was found dead at an address Lookout Terrace, according to the Essex County District Attorney's Office. Investigators said he suffered "apparent trauma" and that the death is being investigated as an apparent homicide. Few details were immediately available, but authorities said they do not believe there is any threat to the public.

    The Miss Maine USA pageant is underway in Portland this weekend and includes some high-profile contestants. Isabelle St. Cyr of Monson is making history as the first transgender woman to compete in the pageant.     One person has died and two others were seriously hurt in a head-on crash on Route 16 in Ossipee, New Hampshire on Thursday. Ossipee police said they were called to the area near 1179 Route 16 around 6:46 p.m. for the crash. Investigators say a Mazda was traveling south when the driver lost control and crashed head-on with a Toyota Highlander that was traveling the opposite direction. A passenger in the Mazda suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at Huggins Hospital.

    A 25-year-old Massachusetts man has been convicted of murdering his parents in a 2020 stabbing, the Plymouth County District Attorney's Office confirmed Thursday. Ryan True was arrested in December 2020 after officers conducted a wellbeing check at his parents' home on Highland Street and found Renee True, 55, and David True, 52, dead inside. Both of them had multiple stab wounds and had been left in the home, covered in blankets, according to prosecutors.
