Kevin Jones, who runs the Office Ale House in Starbeck, is behind the planning application which would change the building’s use to a micropub and bottle shop. Mr Jones wrote in planning documents that the premises will have opening hours between 12pm to 9pm, seven days a week.

Tim was the former first-team captain and club president and after he passed away, he left the club some money in his will to improve facilities. The stand will be known as the Tim Wray Stand, as a tribute, with full approval of his family.

The Local Government Boundary Commission for England is looking for residents’ views on where they live. The public body wants to ensure each councillor represents around the same number of people and their divisions reflect community identities.

The petition was set up by Councillor Barbara Brodigan (Liberal Democrat – Ripon Ure Bank and Spa) and it’s seen 250 people adding their names in the last week alone.
