PENNSYLVANIA (WTAJ) — The Pennsylvania Supreme Court heard arguments Wednesday surrounding whether state game wardens should be allowed to walk onto posted private property to regulate game laws. Attorney Joshua Windham, who represented both the Punxsutawney Hunting Club and Pitch Pine Hunting Club, argued in front of the Pennsylvania Supreme Court that clubs are private places where game wardens have “destroyed” the privacy that clients pay for.

CENTRE COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) — The Centre County Coroner’s Office ruled the death of a woman in Boalsburg a homicide, but the investigation is still ongoing. 35-year-old Chelsea Knepp, formerly of Grampian, died in December 2024 after suffering a gunshot wound to the head, Coroner John Kubalak found. At the time, her boyfriend said the gun went off after a struggle between the two. Centre County District Attorney Bernie Cantorna said this case is still under investigation.

STATE COLLEGE, Pa. (WTAJ) – State College is entering the first phase of its Urban Forest Master Plan, which they hope will let them make more informed environmental decisions in the future. The borough is currently on phase one of four in total. This first phase includes performing a tree canopy assessment, which indicates how much ground is covered by canopies when viewed from above.
