Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Town Point Park is being evacuated at this time due to severe weather approaching the area, according to 13News Now staff who are on site.

As of June 1, Meteorological Spring—which runs from March 1 through May 31—has officially come to a close, and Meteorological Summer is now underway. Spring 2025 was notable, particularly when it comes to temperatures. It will be remembered as the second warmest spring on record in Norfolk. April stood out on its own, claiming the title of the third warmest April ever recorded in the area.
