The 13 News Now Weather Impact Team has declared Monday as a "Weather Impact Alert" for strong to severe thunderstorms. Before the cold air arrives, the weekend will be warm, with temperatures climbing into the mid to upper 70s.

No doubt Norfolk and all of Hampton Roads have dealt with a frigid start to 2025. Since the beginning of the new year, we have only had 3 occasions when the high temperatures were above average. We've seen snow at Norfolk International a couple of times, and we recently endured a 70-hour continuous stretch of time with temperatures at or below 32°.
