    The ramp at Exit 75A from eastbound Highway 29 to southbound Highway 53 south of Chippewa Falls will be closed from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday so work can be completed on approaches to two nearby bridges. According to a press release from the Wisconsin Department of Transportation, drivers will be detoured via the following:Exit 75 B, which will take them to northbound Highway 53. Exit 95 B, which will take then to westbound Highway 29.

    Two people were injured, one critically, Wednesday after a three-vehicle crash involving a semi truck north of Cadott. First responders received a report of a crash at 4:49 p.m. at the intersection of Highway 27 at 115th Avenue in the town of Arthur, according a press release from Chippewa County Sheriff Travis Hakes. A vehicle traveling north on Highway 27 tried to turn left onto 115th Avenue when it collided with a vehicle traveling south on the highway.

    Highway 29 is closed west of Cadott on Thursday morning as firefighters battle a semi truck fire in the roadway. The closure is about 3 miles west of Cadott and impacts both lanes of travel, according to a press release from Chippewa County Sheriff Travis Hakes. Motorists are encouraged to use Highway X to Highway 27 to return to Highway 29 and detour the area. Law enforcement said additional information will be provided as it becomes available.

    The Dunn County Sheriff's Office has identified the driver in a fatal motorcycle crash from Tuesday as Joseph Kadinger of Eau Galle. The 55-year-old was flown from the crash scene by medical helicopter to Mayo Clinic hospital in Eau Claire where he died from injuries sustained in the single-vehicle crash. First responders were called to the scene at 4:41 p.m. when the crash was reported in the N1500 block of 420th Street in the town of Dunn.
