CARTERET COUNTY — Sharon Griffin has been appointed as Carteret's permanent county manager. Griffin had served in the interim manager role since January 2025 after former county head Tommy Burns resigned. Though the item was not originally on the Carteret County Board of Commissioners agenda for their April 21 meeting, Vice-Chairman Mark Mansfield requested that it be added. The board voted unanimously to approve Griffin for the position. kAmvC:77:? E@@< E96 @2E9 @7 @77:46 2?5 H2D DH@C? :? 3J r92:C>2?
