ARKANSAS, USA — Rain and thunderstorm chances return this weekend which could impact your outdoor events and activities. There’s also a risk of strong to severe thunderstorms on Sunday. Very dry conditions and high fire danger will continue across the state until late week, but there is hope for rain beginning as early as Friday morning in Arkansas. An area of low pressure will lift out of the ArkLaTex region with rain overspreading the state by late Friday afternoon and evening.

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — Arkansans should remain weather-aware this weekend as there’s a risk of strong thunderstorms on Sunday when a cold front moves across the state. Here's what you need to know about potential impacts. When should I expect severe weather? A line of strong to severe storms is possible Sunday afternoon and evening across the southeastern one-third of the state. Currently, there is a slight risk, or level 2 out of 5 for strong to severe thunderstorms.

ARKANSAS, USA — A Red Flag Warning has been issued by the National Weather Service and will be in effect from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday due to gusty winds, low relative humidity and wildfire activity. The conditions have prompted the THV11 team to issue a Weather Impact Alert. Southwest winds of 20 to 30 mph with gusts of 40 mph or higher, will shift northwesterly Wednesday afternoon.

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — Currently, the entire state of Arkansas is under a high wildfire threat as several counties have been placed under burn bans. According to our THV11 meteorologists, the wildfire danger is high until further notice as additional burn bans continue to be added. The wildfire dangers are broken up into four levels: low, moderate, high, and extreme. This would put Arkansas at a level 3 out of 4 for wildfire danger currently.

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — It's almost time for the month of February to come to an end and for a new month to begin. The first day of March marks the beginning of meteorological spring, and with that, sunshine and milder-than-average spring-like temperatures are expected this make their arrival weekend. Look for ample sunshine on Saturday and Sunday with highs on Saturday near 70 degrees and near 60 degrees on Sunday.
