ARKANSAS, USA — Strong storms could impact your Easter weekend activities. Our THV11 meteorology team wants to make sure you're prepared for potential storms this weekend. A slow-moving cold front will move into Arkansas this weekend with a chance of a few strong thunderstorms and a risk of severe weather. A slight risk of severe weather is possible both Saturday and Sunday. Damaging wind, hail and even a couple of tornadoes cannot be ruled out.

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — The risk of flooding due to excessive rain is possible in Arkansas on Wednesday through the weekend. A strong upper-level storm system will impact the state, with threats of severe weather and a chance of flash flooding beginning on Wednesday. According to the National Weather Service, a flood watch is in effect from Wednesday afternoon through Sunday morning. They are also describing the incoming forecast as a "particularly dangerous situation" in regards to flooding.

ARKANSAS, USA — Rain and thunderstorm chances return this weekend which could impact your outdoor events and activities. There’s also a risk of strong to severe thunderstorms on Sunday. Very dry conditions and high fire danger will continue across the state until late week, but there is hope for rain beginning as early as Friday morning in Arkansas. An area of low pressure will lift out of the ArkLaTex region with rain overspreading the state by late Friday afternoon and evening.
