GREEN BAY (WLUK) -- Become more environmentally sustainable. That’s the goal of the 2025 "Grow Solar Green Bay - Fox Valley" program. It looks to encourage residents to switch to solar energy. It’s in partnership with the city of Green Bay and the Midwest Renewable Energy Association (MREA). Small businesses, non-profits, and residents in Northeast Wisconsin can get involved in the "Grow Solar Green Bay - Fox Valley" program which helps people buy solar equipment at a below-market price.

APPLETON (WLUK) — The Trump administration announced last week it will be cutting $1 billion in federal mental health grants at the Department of Education. That means Wisconsin schools will lose $8 million in funding over the next four years. May is also Mental Health Awareness Month. To kick it off, Kaleidoscope Academy in Appleton held an assembly Monday to help students better understand mental health, and learn about resilience and positivity.
