(KEYC) - To wrap up July and celebrate the start of the Olympics, Waseca County Library staff decided to give kids a chance to try a few of the sports. “I will be honest, actually, one of my coworkers came up with this event. (KEYC) - Flooding has been hit or miss with local growers, some like Pietsch Gardens faced devastation. “Everything that we normally would have a lot of is sometimes behind or delayed just because it hasn’t been the warm hot weather for it to grow. It’s just constant rain rain rain.”But on the opposite side, the Gulden family escaped with minor damage. “So for me, flooding has not been an issue, however the amount of rainfall did cause some complications earlier on.

    Waterville, Minn. (KEYC) - Waterville’s recovery process is ongoing after last month’s historic flooding. While Waterville’s flooding may be down, it’s only the start of the rebuilding process. “This is actually a marathon that’s going on, not a race,” Waterville Police Chief John Manning said. Houses are still lined with sandbags and there are still places the city is waiting for the flood water to go down. “Once the water gets removed, that’s why this is an on going effort” Manning said.
