    MANKATO, Minn. (KEYC) - The Mankato East softball team took on Byron Friday evening at Caswell Park. After three innings Byron lead 3-0, but the Cougars got the bats going in the 4th inning scoring 4 runs to take a 4-3 lead. East goes on to win 5-3 over Byron. The Cougars also won its second game of the evening beating New Prague 12-2. With the two wins, East improves to 12-1 on the season.
