Greenville community members brave the heat and celebrate Juneteenth

Despite scorching weather of 93 degrees with a heat index of 101, a small-but-spirited group of Greenville community members gathered at Graham Park on Friday in celebration of Juneteenth. Rockwall County collects feedback from cities for federal road safety planning grant

The Rockwall County Commissioners Court plans to submit an application for federal funding to help improve roadway safety throughout the county. The application will be for a planning grant (no more than $1 million) from the U.S. Department of Transportation through its Safe Streets and Roads for All program, which would be used to prepare a countywide comprehensive safety action plan.
