A Giant Bunny Takeover and an egg hunt are among the Easter activities at the Eastgate Shopping Centre in Inverness. In collaboration with Inverness City Centre BID, the centre is hosting the Great Inverness Easter Egg Hunt tomorrow and Saturday from 11am to 4pm. Participants can collect entry forms from Falcon Square entrance or at the Steeple at the top of Church Street. The hunt involves locating hidden eggs in shop windows throughout the city centre, guided by a colourful map.

An Armed services organisation in Inverness is appealing for public help to solve a 20-year-old mystery. The Inverness branch of the Royal British Legion Scotland (RBLS) is trying to find out who created an embroidered sampler which was handed in to the club in 2005. It commemorates the 60th anniversary of Victory in Europe (VE) Day on May 8 as World War II was coming to an end.

Young people in the Highlands are being offered the chance to have their voices heard in tackling social issues with the formation of a new group. The Highland Youth Local Action Group (YLAG) will bring together young people aged 16 to 30 interested in improving opportunities in rural areas.. It will be responsible for setting its own priorities and delivering a Youth Action Fund to support youth projects. It is expected to distribute £25,000 in its first year.

An attack in an Inverness pub which left a 20-year-old seriously injured has been branded as “senseless”. The incident happened in the early hours of today at Johnny Foxes bar in Bank Street. In a post on social media, the pub thanked police officers and the paramedics who attended the incident. It also said it would not open until 5pm today and thanked everyone for their understanding.
