RAPID CITY, S.D. (KOTA) -The annual Howard Wood track and field meet is being held this weekend in Sioux Falls. Local athletes got off to a good start on Friday. For the boys Bennett County’s Rush O’Neill won the high jump. Custer’s Kincade Lehman took first in the long jump. On the ladies side of things Stevens’ Ava Holzworth won the long jump. Stevens boys tennis team splits a pair of duals

RAPID CITY, S.D. (KOTA) -The Stevens boys tennis team hit the court for a pair of duals in eastern South Dakota on Friday. The Raiders defeated Brandon Valley 6-3 and fell to top ranked Harrisburg 9-0. Stevens is now 13-2 in duals this season.

RAPID CITY, S.D. (KOTA) -Jadon Moreno has signed on the dotted line to continue his baseball career at Mount Marty. Moreno is a pitcher for Post 22 with a career ERA under 3.00. RC Christian’s Benson Kieffer has also signed to play basketball at Black Hills State. Kieffer earned first team All State honors this season and helped the Comets reach the state tournament.
